What is the Tank Air Studio Tank?

The Studio Tank is our fitted camisole tank top with a scooped neckline, slim straps, a slightly cropped body, and a subtle flare at the hem. It is made from our signature heavyweight sueded stretch jersey, with a soft feel, firm hold, and matte finish.

Is the Studio Tank see-through?

The Studio Tank is made from heavyweight sueded stretch jersey that provides opaque coverage for most wearers. If you have questions about a particular color or size, email info@tankair.com before ordering.

Can I wear the Studio Tank without a bra?

Yes. The Studio Tank can be worn without a bra, and is often cited as one of its biggest benefits. Its heavyweight stretch fabric and close fit provide hold and coverage.

Does the Studio Tank work for a fuller bust?

Does the Studio Tank run small?

The Studio Tank fits true to size and is designed for a very close, body-hugging fit. Take your usual size. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing down for the intended fit. If you prefer a less fitted feel or are unsure, email info@tankair.com with your bust and waist measurements and height.

Is the Studio Tank cropped?

The Studio Tank has a slightly cropped body. Where the hem sits will depend on your height, torso length, and chosen size.

What is the Studio Tank made of?

The Studio Tank is made from our signature sueded stretch jersey: 88% polyester and 12% spandex. The fabric combines a soft, suede-like surface with stretch and firm hold. “Sueded” describes the fabric’s finish.

Is the Studio Tank fabric made without BPA and PFAS?

Our signature sueded jersey is made without BPA and PFAS.

What does OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification mean?

The signature sueded jersey used in the Studio Tank is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. The certification covers this exact fabric and means it has been tested for harmful substances against the standard’s specified limits.

Has the Studio Tank fabric changed?

No. The Studio Tank’s fabric composition, weight, knit, finish, and specifications have remained the same since the very first Studio Tank. We continue to work with the same fabric mill.

How do I wash the Studio Tank and other sueded jersey pieces?

Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle, inside a mesh laundry bag, with like colors. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry and use a low iron if needed. Our sueded jersey can also be dry cleaned. Always follow the care label on your particular garment.

What sizes does Tank Air offer?

Tank Air offers sizes XXS through XXXL. Check the individual product page for the sizes offered in that style and the size conversion chart.

Does sizing vary across Tank Air styles?

Choose your size using the fit notes and size information for the specific style. If you are unsure, our team can help you choose.

How do I measure myself?

Use a flexible measuring tape. Keep it level and close to your body without pulling it tight.

• Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
• Waist: Measure around your natural waist, usually the narrowest part of your torso.
• Low waist: For our low-rise styles, measure around the point roughly four finger widths below your belly button.
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

How do I use garment measurements?

Garment measurements describe the clothing itself, rather than your body. Where garment measurements are provided, compare them with a similar piece you already own and like the fit of. Lay it flat and measure in the same way shown in the guide. Allow for differences in stretch and intended fit, as well as slight variation between finished garments.

Can you help me choose a size?

Yes. Email info@tankair.com with the style you are considering, your bust and waist measurements, and your height. Include your hip measurement for bottoms or dresses, and let us know how you would like the piece to fit.

How much does shipping cost?

U.S. shipping is a flat rate of $12 USD. International shipping rates vary by destination. See our Shipping & Delivery page for details.

How long will my U.S. order take to arrive?

Allow 1–3 business days for processing, followed by approximately 2–5 business days for delivery. We process and ship orders Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Busy periods and carrier delays may affect these estimates. Orders over $500 USD require a signature; our shipping policy lists a typical delivery time of 2–3 business days for those orders.

Does Tank Air ship internationally?

Yes. International shipping rates depend on your destination. Review the International section of our Shipping & Delivery page, or email info@tankair.com with your country and shipping question.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Email info@tankair.com as soon as possible with your order number and requested change. We will do our best to help, but changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed. We cannot change an order once it has shipped.

What should I do if an item arrives damaged or incorrect?

Email info@tankair.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging. Our customer service team can review the issue and advise on next steps.

What is Tank Air’s U.S. return policy?

For eligible U.S. orders, initiate your return request within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, unscented, and in their original condition with hangtags attached. Once your request is approved, ship your return within 7 days of approval. Start through our returns portal and review the full Returns Policy.

Are returns free?

For U.S. returns, store credit carries no return shipping or restocking fee. Refunds to the original payment method have an $8 USD return shipping fee plus a $12 USD restocking fee per item. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. The restocking fee covers dry cleaning, pressing, repackaging, and labor.

Can I return an item for a different size, color, or style?

For eligible U.S. returns, we recommend choosing store credit to shop for a different size, color, or style.

How do international returns work?

International customers arrange and pay for return shipping; we do not provide international return labels. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Review the International section of our Returns Policy for the applicable conditions before returning.

How long does a refund take?

For U.S. returns, inspection can take up to 7 business days after we receive your package. We email the outcome. After an accepted refund is processed, allow up to 10 business days for it to appear in your bank account.

Can I return final-sale items?

Final-sale items and undergarments are not eligible for ordinary returns. If an item arrives damaged or imperfect, contact info@tankair.com.

Who founded Tank Air, and where is it based?

Tank Air was founded by Claire Robertson-Macleod in Bangkok in 2018. The brand is now based in Downtown Los Angeles, California.

Where is Tank Air clothing made?

Tank Air works with manufacturers in Los Angeles, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Peru, the Philippines, and more. We choose production partners for their expertise in the type of garment being made. The manufacturing location varies by style.

Does Tank Air restock sold-out styles?

We aim to keep our Essentials in stock, while ready-to-wear pieces are rarely restocked. If a waitlist is available on a product page, sign up for updates. You can also subscribe to Tank Air emails or texts for news about releases and limited restocks.
